After a two-month stay at the
D'Anna Yacht Center facility at Bethel Island, where I learned to maintain and
maneuver Chapter Two, the boat was moved to the more upscale and relatively new
Antioch Municipal Marina.
This photo was taken a few days after the move to Antioch.
This is a wider view of Chapter Two in
slip A-1.
This is Jon Foster and my sister and
brother-in-law, Leeann and Jim Stover.
While I waited for a covered berth to become available, slip A-1 was Chapter Two's new home.
Two months later, A-13 became available, and the boat now had
a roof over its head.
During my first year of ownership, Jon Foster was my boat captain. He was responsible for teaching new yacht owners how to handle and maintain boats sold by D'Anna, and he and I had an arrangement wherein he would handle all the maintenance and pilot the boat for my "on-the-water-parties" in exchange for having access to Chapter Two for his personal use when the boat was available.
